Accutaz AS 1000mg/125mg Injection is a combination of twomedicines: Ceftriaxone and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It worksby preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which isessential for the survival of bacteria. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamaseinhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxoneagainst bacteria.
